We Can't Give Up - TOO Much at Risk!

The Texas Legislature’s “special session” is ending next week on August 6, 2021.  House Democrats fled to Washington D.C. in an effort to thwart the Legislature a quorum.  Their reasoning is to attempt to stop the passing of an election law that will insure legal voting in the state of Texas.  

The orchestration of “political theater” between our state legislatures, Congress, and the Vice-President is beneath the elected offices they hold.  Officeholders work for us - their constituents, but not Democrats; they work for themselves.  Furthering their own political agendas as they cram down: critical race theory, cancelling anyone that disagrees with them, and pretending that the border crisis they created doesn’t exist.  

Since we know that they are not going to change; we must.  I struggle with this too.  Going to work, taking care of my elderly relatives, helping my adult children and working; but it’s not enough.  The Democrats will not be satisfied with us living our lives; they want to crush us and destroy our culture, and values upon which this country was established.  

Over the next few blogs I will follow with my opinions of critical race theory, cancel culture and the border.  Know that we are right on these issues and that Texas Democrats fleeing to DC will not change the passing of Texas election laws - it is only a delay.  If we stick together, we can overcome the issues that the Democrats use to divide us.  We can’t give up - our very future is at risk!
